1. Holder of advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) with one Principal pass plus one Subsidiary pass in Principal subjects.

   OR

2. Possession of National Technical Award (NTA level 4) in related courses such as Tourism OR Travel and Tourism OR Wildlife Management or Heritage management OR Hotel Management OR Tour Guiding courses from institutions accredited by National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET).

Basic Technician Certificate in Tourism and Tour Guiding (NTA Level 4)

The following are the minimum entry qualifications for NTA 4 as also set by NACTVET;

1. Holders of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with at least four passes (minimum of D) in non-religious subjects  

   OR

 Possession of National Vocational Award (NVA) III in related courses such as Tourism OR Travel and Tourism OR Wildlife Management OR Hotel Management OR Tour Guiding courses from institutions Accredited by Vocational Education and Training (VET). Applicants applying using NVA III MUST have obtained two passes in Ordinary Secondary School Certificate.

Please note:

• Due to the nature of training (Paramilitary), applicants must be physically fit (no mental or physical disabilities).
• Applicants must be of age between 18 to 30 years old.

 Training for Village Game Scouts (VGS)

Applicants to this course must be:

• Standard VII leavers and above,
• Age 18 years and above at the time of enrollment and not more than 45 years,
• Physical fitness certified by a Government recognized Doctor.
• Selected and Approved by their respective Villages and CBO’s

Training on Integrated Community Based Natural Resources Management

Applicants to this course must be:

• Standard VII leavers and above
• Applicants who are physically and mentally fit
• Applicants aged 18 years and above
• Selected and Approved by their respected Villages, Wards and CBO’s
